why can't I use putt preview when playing pga tour career in tour mode difficulty? I've heard that when you play online it screws up the settings but, for the life of me, can't find the putt preview option in the settings menu to change this.. any help is much appreciated.

Does anyone know how to edit my golfer's name? I have made several characters and have not had the chance to ever enter a name for any of them. When I play in tournaments my golfer's name slot is blank. Please help.

Can anyone tell me, when you play career mode... do you play tournaments in foursomes or alone like in TW10?

How can you have live tournaments at places where you havent given the US ps3 people the opportunity to get the discounted DLC? I enjoy playing in live tournaments more than anything and this puts me more behind than I already am. Once again thanks EA!!!!!!!!!!!! And once again don't discount for some and not all

Which are the best course packs to buy?

I downloaded and installed both the Highland course and the favourites pack, but when I access TW11 I can't find them anywhere.


I'm sure I'm missing the obvious here, but any help appreciated.

I have been playing tourneys on Tiger Woods 2010 lately, and it seems as if after today, September 6th, there are no more online tounaments scheduled. I hope this does not mean EA plans to pull all support from a game that is barely a year old. EA can't run one tournament a day for people that still want to play with online support? Hopefully I can get an answer on this, I can't be expected to pay an online fee for Tiger '11 when they pull full support after a year. Unbelieveable.

Has anyone here used EA's *[b]new[/b]* form of communication - [i]Send us your Feedback![/i]? If so, what were your results? Did they reply back? Was it an automated reply?

Clearly, posting question/issues on this forum doesn't seem to work too well, as the only responses we get are from other users and moderators (who are users like you and me, as I have been told, they [b][u]DO NOT[/u][/b] work for EA).

I cannot speak about the other forums as I rarely frequent them, but I suspect that the situation is the same.

I purchased the favourites course pack on Fri 3rd Sept - 9 courses for £11.99 which I thought was a very reasonable price so decided to bite the bullet and buy some dlc. 2 days later and I have played Sheshan once. I set up Match play and Stroke play games and just seem to wait and wait and wait. Nobody seems to have these courses and I never get to play the courses I have just paid for. Anyone who has the favourite course pack for the PS3, feel free to add Altern8 to your list to play these courses.

Since the end of the swing pause in TW11, I use loft a lot more to control distance if I have not been able to land accurately enough for a 100% swing on the approach shots.

I've noticed an oddity when closing the face for topspin when hitting the long wedges and the 9 iron to a slightly lesser degree. If I hit say an AW with full topspin, when the ball hits the hard green, it accelerates forward with the spin and can roll quite a long way up the green. However, if I just reduce the topspin by the smallest amount possible, the amount of forward roll is drastically reduced. The difference between full topspin and just a little less than full topspin, is really quite marked. The amount of forward roll achieved from topspin seems much almost linear as you increase the topspin from zero, until you get to full topspin. Then it seems to go into overdrive.

Could someone try this out on their machine. You might need to turn on mulligans so that you can play several shots in the same conditions. Set yourself up with an approach shot that is just too far for a 100% shot with a long wedge and then try various amounts of topspin until you get to full topspin and see if you get the same effect that I am seeing.

I'm on a PS3 and this is not controller specific, I have tried this with more than one controller.

Hi. I've been playing TW2010 for a while now and have made god progress and find it very enjoyable. In the PGA tour season I am 68% and have won 34 out of 50 tournaments. When I look in all time records it tells me the tournaments i have not won. New years day, London invertational anf Gator open to name just 3. But when I stat a new year tournaments none of these tournaments are available to play in. I keep on playing the same tournaments year after year. It would be good to try and get a clean sweep and win 50 of the 50 tournaments available. Is this possible? and how? thanks.

I haven't seen the complete review, but the snippets I've read are a bit disconcerting.

The Focus business wouldn't be a big deal to me, but how are you supposed to play draws and fades? Is the game really coded to have the swingplane pull draws and fades?

This won't affect me, but I can see where this would be a game killer for fans of Amateur mode play.

I didn't expect to navigate menus with the Move, so no big deal here.

This seems to be confirming my hunch that Move support is going to be relatively superficial this iteration. As an add-on, it's not something the game design had in mind during its planning stages. I hope it's not as empty an experience as the OPM reviewer suggests when the article is concluded with: [i]"it won't take to long before you simply drop the controller altogether."[/i] The review score gets revised thusly:

Ouch... pretty harsh!

This could be a case of a the reviewer not having a complete set of instructions and/or not enough lab time with the device.

I bought this game new when it came out but was forced to sell this. I have decided to pick this up again, my question is if i buy this used will I need to pay the online fee if ive enetered an online code for my first game and still have all my saves
